This product has shown excellent results on even the most severe urine and other odor-causing spots by working to stop the smell at its source instead of simply masking the odor.

Facts You Need To Know About Pet Urine In Your Carpeting:

Urine deposited on carpet does not stay there, it penetrates the fibers and contaminates both the backing of the carpet and the flooring material below the carpet. Often, without your knowing, pets will urinate continually in the same general location. Urine odors can permeate from the floor, be it cement or wood, from the tack strip, and even from the framework of the house behind the walls.

As the urine dries, the liquid evaporates but the urine crystals become even more concentrated and pungent. Simple cleaning will not remove this odor. Until recently, there was not a product available that was effective at removing urine odors.

When P.U.R.T.® contacts the source of the odor, it immediately begins a chemical reaction that destroys the urine odor.

How P.U.R.T.® Works

  1. The source and severity of the odor are determined, then the carpet will be rinsed and extracted with a hot water rinse to remove the bulk of the urine crystals.
  2. In worst cases, the carpet is pulled back in the suspected areas to reveal the extent of the damage.*
  3. If necessary, the pad will be removed and replaced.*
  4. An odor blocking shellac may be applied to the sub-floor if determined necessary.*
  5. P.U.R.T.® will then be applied heavily to the tack strip, the sub floor, the baseboards and the carpet backing. It is necessary to apply this product heavily enough to dampen all areas affected by the urine. *
  6. Over the next 24 to 36 hours, the ingredients in P.U.R.T.® will react with the urine, and break down the odor causing components.

Please be advised that due to the nature of how the coronavirus spreads (person to person) there is no guarantee that the homes or businesses we provide a service will prevent from being infected, however our service is to assure that we are doing our part in making the spread of the coronavirus minimal. Additionally, our employees are doing their part in making sure we do what we can to minimize the risk to the spread of the coronavirus.
Daily steps we are taking:
  • All equipment is cleaned and sanitized before entering any residence or business.
  • Our trucks are cleaned with an EPA registered sanitizer / disinfectant and treated with our MicroPro Shield™.
  • Our office and shop are cleaned and sprayed with MicroPro Shield™.
  • We have provided our employees with hand sanitizer and advising them to wash their hands regularly during each day.
  • We are enforcing the training procedures to ensure all cleaning processes are implemented properly by each employee.
  • If an employee begins to feel ill in any way, they are advised to notify us and are asked not to come in for their shift until we feel the situation is safe and there is no risk to our clients and to the rest of our team.
  • We are asking those who request an appointment for services to please let us know if they or someone in their household, business etc., had suffer from any illness within the last few weeks.
